New Skaters

This year SAHA has once again decided to waive the SAHA registration fee for first time skaters with birthdates 7/1/00 and after (there is a USA/WAHA fee of $40 for kids born before 12/31/01).  In addition to free registration the Superior Jaycees have donated a free equipment package for new skates ages 7 and under.  The starter equipment package includes a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, gloves and a stick from Play-It-Again Sports in Superior.  With SAHA and the Jaycees teaming up...kids can learn the sport of hockey for free.  All skaters at SAHA are required to take part in our one required fundraiser.  Players are required to sell 10 SAHA calendars at the cost of $10 each.  This helps keep rates down in Superior.

We hope to see you there!

New Calendars this year...

SAHA has changed our fundraising calendar.  The new calendar will feature some of the great SAHA athletes on every month.  It will also offer great coupon savings from some of our local businesses.  Each person will be required to sell 10 calendars with a max of 15 per family.  The new cost of the calendars is just $10!!!

Upper Lakes Food Fundraiser

This year SAHA has partnered with Upper Lakes Food to offer families a fundraiser that will benefit individual players.  Participants will sell a variety of cookie doughs and soups that will earn families up to 50% profit.  Profits earned will be applied to the designated players team fees.

Order forms and more information will be available during registration.

Scholarship for Hockey Players

The Harrington Memorial Fund, established in memory of Rusty Harrington, a long-time supporter of hockey. This fund provides money or credit for registration and/or equipment for any active player in the SAHA program, provided the applicant can demonstrate the need for that funding.  For more information visit the Harrington Fund page.
